Hi all,

I am a first time mum of a gorgeous baby boy who I am falling in love with more and more each day. He is 3 months old. I really don't know a lot about AP but like what I've read so far and love the main principles behind it.

I wear my baby often, somtimes co-sleep (but not always - am a bit nervous of it), bf baby on cue and try to read his sleep cues as best as possible (I'm getting a bit better at this)

Anyway sometimes feel a bit lonely as many other mums I know are doing the parenting thing quite differently. However I am getting more confident in what I believe.

Am really interested in learning more about AP as I think it most matches the way I would naturally want to parent anyway.

Hi Kate,

I'm living in Dublin and have a lot of bottle feeding friends with babies on schedules. I even had some second thoughts about what to do re ds sleep after I re read bits of the baby whisperer the other day...however after having him in his sling for most of the day today (he was soooo content to sleep there and woke up so responsive and engaging) i decided once and for all to forget about the schedules and go with what he wants cos he is more than capable of letting me know! Would love to meet some babywearing, breastfeeding mums whose babies are not on schedules...I suspect we are few and far between!
