Thought I'd come in an introduce myself! I followed a link posted on another website and am very happy to have found this forum!
I'm currently living in Canada but moving to Ireland in 10 days with my little one, who is 19 months. DH is already there.
I'm passionate about breastfeeding and am curently studying to become an IBCLC. I've just finished clinical practice with Dr.Newman (my life is now complete, lol) and will continue to observe/offer suppourt when I am settled in Dublin.
I've lived in a few countries and love to travel, and I also have a home business making custom baby carriers. I was a fashion designer in my former life..
I'm hoping to have another bun in the oven sometime in the next year, but have no idea how to go about finding a midwive and organising a home birth in Ireland - any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

You are so lucky to have trained alongside Jack Newman, he really helped me when I was having problems with BF and he responded to my e-mails so promptly which he really didn't need to do and I'm sure he gets a lot of them. Wow, would love to hear more about your experiences. Have posted something in response to one of your comments re co-sleepers. Would appreciate your advice please. Thanks.
