Yes I just followed the link fromm a MM signature :)
We have 2 boys aged 3 years and 6 months.
I read the Sears Baby Book from cover to cover during my first pregnancy ... I'm fairly sure that's where I first came accross AP.
I don't remember a time when I didn't assume that I would breastfeed and use a sling ... The Baby Book and my first son convinced me on the issue of sleep sharing.
I found/find AP in relation to Babies sensible and easy but in relation to my older son as he gets older much more of a challenge.
As far as reading is concerned apart from The Baby Book , I read every word of Robin Grille's Parenting for a Peaceful World , have read bits of Alfie Kohn and of How to Talk and the Sibling Rialry one ... not sure which books are considered AP but also found the No Cry Sleep Solution very comforting in times of need even though I've never taken action on it.
Am delighted to have found this forum... I'm sometimes reluctant to ask for or give advice when I know that I'm coming at parenting from a somewhat unorthodox angle ... checked out this site before but don't think there was a forum then.
Have been meaning to ask about the meetings for ages too ....whether it's okay to bring children to them...would prefer to attend with DH if we can get ourselves organised but not set up for leaving baby.
That was a much more long winded intro than I intended :D
